Notes

Batch sparged 4 gallons in mash, then 4 gallons sparge started mash at 153 ended at 148 OG 1.034 ( way too low) New boil kettle loses about 1.5 gallons over boil so definitely need more grain with 15 gallon kettle. Did yield 5.5 gallons in the fermenter. Wort tasted cinnamon? Pitched US-05 at 68F around 8PM. Bubbles started by noon the next morning.10/19/2014 12:33:20 PM : Added 1 oz citra dry hop11/4/2014 12:31:37 AM : Final gravity 1.008, Racked into clean carboy then set in garage to cold crash11/7/2014 10:05:25 AM : Good Hop after taste not much aroma. Bottled with 3.5oz of table sugar11/8/2014 1:42:41 PM : Got 54 beers Overall impression: Decent drinking beer home water must have imparted some flavor. Decent hop aroma and flavor good malt character. Next time add more grain for recipe only about 3.5% ABV
